Presenters

Therese Beaumont: an artist in the Kentuckiana area. She expresses and explores spirituality through her art. She is an Associ- ate of the SCN’s.

Elizabeth Blandford, SCN: an experienced retreat director working mainly with parish groups. She is a published author of children’s stories.

Luke Boiarski, SCN: an experienced group leader of youth and volunteer groups. She directs the CN Volunteer Ministry Program. Sister Luke is an accomplished artist.

Dennis Borca: a consecrated hermit of the Louisville Archdiocese. Father Dennis cherishes the earth, Franciscan spirituality and music.

Christine Connelly, O.P.: an experienced spiritual director. She is a Rector at Notre Dame University, with a background in theology and education.

Mary Ellen Doyle, SCN: a trained spiritual director and published author. She is known for her work with Mother Catherine Spalding and the SCN history.

Mary Ann Glaser: an accomplished retreat presenter. Mary Ann is Pastoral Associate at Incarnation Parish, Louisville.

Sharon Gray, SCN: Director of Nazareth retreat Center. She has extensive experience in spiritual direction and retreats. She is for- mer adjunct faculty at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago.

David Haas: nationally known composer and recording artist. He is the composer of over 45 collections of liturgical and author of over 20 books on liturgical music and spirituality.

Tyrone Hayes: a scientist in the field of integrative biology He comes from the University of Berkeley, California.

Maryellen Knuth: a trained spiritual director and retreat presenter. She is on staff for adult formation at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. Mary Ellen is a wife and mother.

Frances Krumpelman, SCN: an experienced retreat presenter and spiritual director. Frances is director of the SCN heritage Hall. She has a strong background in scripture.

Elene Loecher: an experienced spiritual director with an emphasis in the twelve step program and working with addictions. Elene comes from the world reknown Hazeldon Addiction Treatment Center where she is on staff as spiritual director.

Colleen McGeady-Ambrose: a spiritual director on staff at the Claret Center in Chicago She holds an MA in theology and is a wife and mother.

Barbara MacDonald: founder of The Mustard Seed, programs for per- sonal growth. Barbara is former executive director of the Catholic Family Center.

Miriam Therese MacGillis, O.P.: founder of Genesis Farm, a center for eco-justice, offering education and retreat programs. Miriam Therese is a nationally known author and presenter on eco-spirituality, following upon the works of Thomas Berry, S.J.

Joseph Mitchell, C.P.: a member of the Passionist Community. His current work engages the relationship between the emerging scientific cosmology and Christian theology.

Emily Nabholz, SCN: an experienced spiritual director. Emily has a strong background in theology and psychology with an emphasis in energy work.

Carol Perry, S.U.: a scripture scholar on staff at Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan. Carol is an experienced retreat presenter and scripture educator.

Marilyn Shea, SCN: a retreat director and trained spiritual director. Marilyn has extensive pastoral experience and research background on Louise de Marillac.

Joe Simmons: a nationally recognized composer and recording artist. Joe works closely with National Pastoral Musicians, giving cantor/music retreats and workshops.

Lori True: a cantor and pastoral musician. Lori is active nationally as a workshop leader, composer and recording artist.

Monica Unseld: a professor of environmental sciences. Monica is on the faculty of St. Catharine’s College, KY. She combines her scientific research with her passion for the spiritual care for the earth. Monica is on the Advisory Committee of NRC.

Lisa Wagner: founder and director of Stillpoint Theatre, Chicago. Lisa is a trained spiritual director, playwright and performing artist.

Gary Young, C.R.: current resident chaplain for the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth at Nazareth, KY. Gary has an extensive theological back- ground, has taught high school in the Chicago area schools and has pastored churches in the Louisville Archdiocese.
